Overview

Matea: Building an AI-Ready Generation Matea is an education and youth initiative dedicated to closing the “last-mile gap” in digital learning by preparing students, educators, and schools to thrive in the age of artificial intelligence. Recognized nationally and internationally from winning ITB’s The Greater Hub incubator to representing Southeast Asia at YSEALI AFP 2025 in the United States, Matea is advancing a mission to create AI-ready graduates and job-ready workforces. At the core of this mission is Matea App (matea-app.com), a web and mobile platform that transforms classroom instruction into structured, curriculum-aligned learning within seconds. Leveraging advanced technologies, including AI-driven voice tutoring, adaptive mastery engines, and attention-tracking analytics; Matea delivers personalized guidance for students while giving educators actionable insights without additional workload. Designed for low-bandwidth environments and full interoperability with existing school systems, Matea makes digital inclusion practical and scalable across Indonesia and beyond. Matea’s impact model is built on three pillars:

1. Empowerment: equipping schools and youth communities with AI-ready skills.
2. Amplification: bridging education data with actionable insights for teachers.
3. Transformation: scaling adoption nationally, with a trajectory towards regional expansion. Beyond technology, Matea Society fosters cultural exchange, literacy initiatives, and youth leadership: ensuring that digital innovation is matched with social responsibility. By 2029, Matea envisions reaching 100 schools, 100,000 students, aligned with Indonesia’s National AI Strategy 2045 and the ASEAN Digital Education Roadmap. With Matea, education is not just content delivery, it is a classroom-to-mastery conversion engine, preparing today’s learners for tomorrow’s opportunities.
